FREE NITRO FOR NEW MEMBERS IS DISRESPECTFUL FOR NITRO USERS

It is a complete shame that they give nitro to new users who do not support you and to those who if we support you, you do not give it to us. You should take into account the people who pay you and that thanks to us you can make such collaborations as epic

    I actually think that this is a good marketing strategy. There are two bad things about it:

     

    1. Three months are way too much. I mean, we are paying round about $30 for this, why should they just get it for nothing?
    2. I am a Nitro Classic subscriber. Why can't I upgrade to Nitro for those three months? I mean, I am paying for my subscription to support you. You give non-paying users a free Nitro but leave us subscribers behind? That's evil - shame on you!

    Although this is a good money-grinding strategy for the company, I also agree that it isn't the smartest move (as a customer). I don't really get the reason as to why they send free nitro AND needs your credit card/PayPal. There are users there who have no PayPal and not trusting Discord fully to give out their cc.
