Retrieval of inactive/old accounts

I believe that if an account is inactive for a long period of time, and people say they have forgotten the account details. A form of ID should be introduced to validate the person's claims to access the account. As if you have forgotten an old email and have no access to your phone number you are done for at the moment. When in many other companies this isn't the end, I retrieved my Riot account by providing my passport.

    I totally agree with you,  

    I have three accounts that I put them on random email and password bc I had some personal issues back then when I was young, but I just realised I had so much personal info that can be accessed to bad people and I have a proof that the last time those accounts have been accessed is when I logged into them some years ago. I think it’s more than enough reason to delete them or turn them back to their previous emails bc they’re considered as fake now or inactive. only if discord support put some efforts on their email replies..
