Pinning DM chats

I found a similar feature request from 3 years ago here:

This request suggests adding the ability to group DM chats. This would be an amazing feature, but I at the very least would like the ability to even just pin DMs.

As a computer science student, some of my professors and most of my classmates/TAs use Discord. I wish I didn't have to scroll through the 'Direct Messages' column, trying to remember usernames and PFPs, just to message my professors.

Being able to pin or group DMs would also help with scam-prevention. I've been burned in the past by trusting someone with a PFP that looked a little too similar to a friend's. Having the ability to group or pin your DMs with the people you trust would help users to more easily differentiate random strangers from their friends.

Pinning chats is a common feature in many messaging apps, including Android's Messages app and Microsoft Teams (a direct competitor of Discord!) . It baffles me that this still isn't a feature yet.
