It's been a month and half, and they told me to be patient.

I think you should contact them again (even create new ticket and ask them when they will answer to your ticket.

I did try that during the first few days after they stopped responding to me when they told me that it was better to just delete my account. And I can't accept that because an associate of mine was fooled through my hacked account and he got his account back within an hour.

Even though he also didn't have 2FA that the hacker enabled once they stole his. Which is also my situation.

Eventually, I was curious after a week of doing this, I came and logged onto to this site to see activity, and they just solved it. Someone told me this was common to do in order to merge tickets.

Head count: 10 tickets solved, only 2 are active. I sent 12 tickets about this.

Can you describe me what you was doing before “hack” happend? Did you scanned any qr codes to verify, did you downloaded any software?

I downloaded a file, they tricked me using an old contact who I have history with (guessing they got hacked too, so this is likely a chain hack). They directed me to website, I downloaded the file they said was in beta they wanted me to  try out and gave a code to use. Next thing I know I got logged out of discord suddenly. I quickly tried to change my Discord password, but they changed it first. They activated 2FA to prevent me from resetting it. I got wise and changed the email password my discord is attached to just to be safe (even though all my passwords are different), and I told Discord Support about it.

The website they directed me to was some pixel rpg game called Damned or something.

Okay, so its known method sadly. Just to be sure, you downloaded it on pc, yes?

    yes

As added safety measure, one of my close friends does tech, and he got me to deep clean my pc to make sure there weren't any other virus, and did a clean install of the Discord app for my pc in case it was compromised since I noticed it would send error messages “Discord has stopped working correctly”.

Nowadays I only open discord through web browser since it kept doing it.

I still would recommend you full scanning your pc using even trial versions of kaspersky or malwarebytes (i recomend kaspersky, using it for 2 years and its great)

I did use a trial version of malwarebytes for full scan when it happened. It still showed up nothing in the following days since the incident.

As of October 4th, at 6:30pm PST, I have finally gotten full control of my old account. And.. despite my despair, my anger. I am… glad and  thankful I have it back now. And right now I am in the process of unjoining so many accounts and personally apologiesing to anyone the imposter has bothered.

How long did it take, in total, to get your account back? I got hacked in the beginning of this week and put in three tickets in the process between Sunday and last night. Last nights ticket got someone's attention im assuming because they closed two tickets and kept ones open with a response of “be patient” and “we can't give you an eta”. I owned a server and the hacker completely deleted it last night a long with 6 and 7 year friendships and memories that was associated with it. I keep looking for some type of hope, but everything I read is just “support bad”and makes me feel worse
