Choose or replace search engine

Here's a request that has been submitted several times over the last 5 years and still no official response from Discord reps. We ought to have a choice on the default search engine used by Discord.

Many people dislike Google. It is a terrible company with shady privacy practices. It'd be great to be able to choose a different search engine or change the default one. DuckDuckGo and Bing are just two examples of search engines that are better and more trusted than Google.

    What does this have to do with discord though?

    Discord does not promote nor use any search engine nor do you have the ability to search inapp with google
