new mobile update

i have difficulty using my fingers, particularly typing. i navigate primarily through the swiping motions, of which no longer exists. the app is functionally unusable for me. the amount of time needed to hold down or “swipe” now is horrible.

the animations for the “swipe” are so bad that i might as well NOT have reduced motion on. i have multiple settings on my phone to stop animations, and even combined with that, the new update is horrible.

the separation of panels is horrible, because again, i have to use more motion than necessary to access a feature i normally swiped to.

the new dark mode, or rather the sudden switch to the new dark mode is terrible. its somehow harder to read. it makes the text look grey instead of the white i know it is.

overall the new update is horrible in my opinion. its made discord virtually unusable for me.
