Replacing swipe to view channel members with swipe to reply feels awful as a user. It's not consistent with the desktop layout making it confusing. Not to mention that you seem to be unable to even view the channel members anymore, or it's so hard to find it may as well not exist as a feature anymore. Removing core functionality is never good, and this is a feature most people probably used often.
Edit: found it and putting the user list behind a subtle button at the top of screen feels like a huge loss for accessibility. You could use discord entirely one handed before, but not this now

I concur with the statement above. Swipe to reply was a feature that multiple users had an issue with in a prior discord update as well. Holding to tap a message to reply to it was already good enough and making it so that it is more difficult to access the member list is a downgrade, not an improvement. If you must include the feature at least allow the user to toggle the reply by swiping with the old functionality.

Agreed, member list is a far more useful function than direct reply.
Most people will use it far more frequently, and it matches the design language of swiping right for servers/channels.
Please change this back or at least give us the ability to choose what this command does.7
