new mobile ui obviously

this may be the worst update ive seen in my past 6 years of using discord. the servers/users drawers in the old format served their purpose perfectly fine and organizing these into separate clickable menus feels clunky asf. servers actually feel less organized with the new layout than previously, and having message previews for every single channel and thread in a server or for every contact in dms is overwhelming to look at. the old, desktop-like ui made discord unique and preferable for me among messaging apps, but now i feel like i'm using facebook messenger or instagram or something; it feels soulless. responding to verifieds on twitter saying that there won't be an option to revert to the old ui if preferred and that we will simply have to get used to it is a huge slap in the face to everyone paying for nitro. i've canceled my subscription and do not plan to renew unless the option to revert to the old ui is made permanent for all mobile users. i imagine i am not alone in this sentiment. 

i have to question the priorities of the development team when the social media-fication of discord takes precedent over long-requested features common to virtually all other platforms, like embedded audio in the mobile app. please do better? lol.

    Honestly, I think every single one of us who received this stupid rollout is questioning the priority of the dev team. You are definitely not alone, here!

    Lots of people are willing and totally have already bailed on their Nitro and Boosts. And Discord are getting Ratioed on X for their thoughtlessness.

    I just interpret that as “We no longer want your money”. Okay, I guess. I can find other uses for it than paying Discord.
