Since when did discord become just another facebook clone?

As you can probably guess, this is about the newest update to their mobile app, i am clearly upset and am here to show why i hate this update

This is images of other apps that Discord is trying to copy for some horrible reason, mind you i dont use these apps because of their UI, now discord is becoming facebook

While not perfectly the same, you get my point, the whole thing is looking like another horrible app choice, ill be waiting to see what discord does within the next 24 hours. if this is how they want it to look then i will no longer be supporting this company.

    They're desperately trying to. I saw someone post a while ago that all these changes the customers dislike started after they hired a bunch of ex-Facebook people. Which I didn't believe at the time, but after looking at the awful UI next to Messenger, it's pretty obvious
