The horrible layout update.

Everyone's struggling with it at this point.

Contacting support gives you automated response to come complain here instead.
I hate that they took off something not just unique but easy and fun to use, the app used to be esay to navigate and I never had trouble finding things. Now you need to go through tap after another trying to figure out where you even see server members, it makes moderating on phone a hassle.

I also keep hearing how the new themes give people headaches and hurt the eyes, tried it myself after the update was forced on me too and was met with similar experience. I also have disabled friends who found discord easier to use since you needed to just swipe around instead of tapping from spot to another to find one thing. Now it's even harder for them too and I hate it.

I can give props on the “you” tab and the new vc looking pretty nice and I don't mind how they put settings there. But some of the icons and buttons are so small that it's hard to tap them.

Swapping between dms and servers is now a task, it's hard to see if your friends are online in a group chat or a server because now instead of showing online members, it replies to a message.
Pinned messages won't show the person who said it anymore so it's confusing to look at.

Using the whole app is way harder now when I need to tab out of something and tap back there or sometimes it's fine to swipe? Before it was easy, just swipe if you want to see member list, just swipe if you want to see online gc friends, just swipe a few times to get around between servers or dms. Easy, simple, fun and a percfectly good layout originally, overrun by whatever summer school project this is.

I've used discord since 2019, back then mainly on phone before getting a PC. I never really used other social medias because they were tricky to navigate and had too much on the screen. Discord was unique and easy, I loved it.
Now it's a close of facebook, facebook. The platform for people to chill and hang out in even if it's not just for games these days resembles facebook. It's not fun to use anymore, most of the long time users hate the update besides 1 or 2 people I see here and there. 
The new update is upsetting, frustrating and hard to use for everyone who isn't a facebook user. 

I wish they would at least change the main navigation method back to swiping, move dms back on top of servers where they used to be and add member lists to be possible to swipe to see again.

Such a sad thing to see a company lose itself into the wave of turning everything into the same mold.
