Discord don't care at all for about mobile UI Update but it was having problem that about.
It was tone-deaf because they won't revert it back or just degrade it.
I disagree that it was too confusing. For me, it wasn't worth the extra taps; it's a waste of time. I don't like that because it's just messed up for me.
Discord 'updates' show that the company doesn't even have basic-level competency to test. The Pin section is completely wrong, showing the wrong person who said things. There are now two pin sections—one of them you cannot access unless you click on a 'pinned' message, and the other is unable to show links or images. The app constantly flips, even though the device has that feature turned off for everything. The search jumps to Media when you type in a search field, even though Messages are far more likely to be wanted. The search acts like all messages are from the other person, even when they are clearly written by the user. It literally looks like they didn't bother testing anything, at least on Android, and pushed out the app for investors and not customers. These aren't even the stupid UI level changes that can be argued as opinions; these are just broken features that they cannot seem to notice.

Reddit: "We understand" ;) and not only did they tell us there was no option to revert from the redesign, but they also said there would be, and then lied

Come on discord, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I happened to come across the new mobile user interface of a platform we all know as Twitter. I took a good look at it and here's what I found out:
