The New UI

Honestly, this new UI is actually horrible.

Everything is now in a harder to get spot. The DMs were easier to get to before, but them being in an entirely different spot with more clicks needed to get to it is extremely inconvenient and annoying. Same thing with servers, not being able to swipe to see who’s online but instead having to click more to get information that would’ve taken 3x faster by just swiping is, again, inconvenient and annoying, it makes the app a lot less usable and not pleasing to use. The old dark mode was a lot better too, the contrast with the white colored text was easier on the eyes, but now the text is basically glowing and it hurts my eyes. This new UI is completely making Discord unusable and displeasing to use.

Please revert back to the old UI, or at least make this new UI optional for those who do want it.

I agree. it used to be super easy to go into my dms from the servers, and then swipe back out and go into my servers again. Now it’s just annoying and inconvenient. I also agree w the glowing text; it’s just WAY too harsh in contrast with the also glowing background. The old theme was soft and almost “matte” looking if that makes sense?
