Compilation of Problems with New UI. Comment to add Problems.
1. Swipe to reply
What is the point of having this while still being able to "hold to reply?"
Negative affect for users as swipe to see channel details (members online, roles, role icon) has been lost making the user experience less seamless.
2. Search Function by (From: Has: In:)
After the update the search function is more difficult to use. It is buggy and takes multiple tries to make a search within the parameters- In: Channel, From: User, Has: Image.
3. Sending Screenshots
Users have reported the app randomly losing the ability to send screenshots since the new UI update. Users have tried clear cache, force stop, device restart, uninstall and download again.
4. DM Location
Not sure why location was changed to bottom bar. Muscle memory for all users impacted. Only new users unaffected. Less seamless experience.

5. Accessibility to visually impaired users
Reports that previous UI of discord had different levels of contrast in its themes low/medium/high which allowed users with either visual disorders or impairments to use the app. The new themes have caused migraines and these users are unable to use the app anymore. App is no longer accessible to all equally.
6. UI is now sluggish
UI has been reported as sluggish. Meaning when switching between certain menus after opening the app it takes the app a moment to load the screen and display text. Specific examples I could find that display lag are: switching between servers, channels, app menus, DM menu, DMs, channel settings. List will grow as more specific items are added.
For new additions please title comment and describe issue. Please upvote or link other posts so that all complaints can be in one place. This will allow discord to more easily see how many people are unsatisfied with the new UI update.

People are migrating from discord not only because of the new UI but because of the physical pain it’s caused the migraines people are getting from it

Sluggishness and draining peoples phone batteries way too fast also are very common complaints. That and everythign being unintuitive and needlessly complex.

Adding to the Swipe to Reply: A lot of Android phones use sideswipe to go back. Previous UI was much better at recognizing the difference between Android navigating back vs. trying to open the left sidebar to see server member list. New UI far more frequently triggers the sideswipe as a reply, so it detracts from Android OS's functionality in addition to just being useless for Discord.
Adding to the Screenshots: Discord reported earlier today that there's a known bug regarding Android users ability to share attachments (not just screenshots). It seems to be inconsistent. Also not sure how consistent this issue is, but it seems like accessing your Nitro/Subscriptions management on mobile is broken for at least some people. When I was trying to cancel my Nitro this morning, it would never load in the app.

Notification settings seem to be reset or not working correctly after the update. Many users have reported that notifications for certain channels or DMs are not appearing as geometry dash expected, which disrupts communication flow.
