audio problems when phone screen is off

so ever since the recent change that happened in discord mobile I've had a problem where if my phone screen turns off very shortly after that happens all audio from my side will stop going through, I've already gone through all my settings to make sure that I don't have like any background data saving stuff turned on because I've never had any of that turned on, and that never used to be a problem and it's only on mobile since the new update and I will have to reopen the app and the call but it will still say that I am connected to the call
