New UI for video chat is horribly unintuitive

The new discord mobile update is quite frustrating to be honest. I am more or less open to changes and welcome updates and remodeling, but the changes made to video calls are really bad. The fact that the default view when going to chat with video on is your own face and not the other party is very strange and annoying. I'm specifically on a call with another person, I have no reason or desire to see my own face. And, the process of trying to get it to show their face is literally so difficult for no reason. Why would I want the default view to show both our videos in a half split. I can understand that being a cool feature for multiple callers, but for just the two of us, it's rather unnecessary. Not to mention, it's difficult to enlarge the other caller's video to the point where we almost just end the call and move to facetime. Please, for the love of God, make it intuitive. Other person's video as the default when going to chat and other person's video as enlarged in the full screen call. It's ridiculous that these features were changed when they were working so perfectly.
