Account wrongly disabled
I was kicked out of the Discord app a few weeks ago and when I tried to log back in it said my account was disabled for violating a guideline. I haven't received a single email or response stating why my account was disabled or what I actually did. I've tried making various tickets but they all end with an automated response from Clyde and then my ticket is marked as solved. I've tried reaching out through the general support category as well, and they all just tell me to make a ticket under the appeal category. I've tried explaining to them that I have done that and they never respond back and just mark it as solved. I've read that my account will be deleted for good after 30 days, which is coming up. I know I haven't done anything wrong and I don't know why it's so difficult to get this sorted out. Is talking to a human at Discord even possible? It's been very frustrating and I would just like to get this whole thing sorted out before my account is gone for good. Any help would be much appreciated.

I know it doesn't help but same here and I see a lot of people complaining about the same thing. Surely there is an appeals section for the reason a human would review the case and not a bot. But I guess not. I'm not sure what we are supposed to do. They say to only make one ticket and don't reply on it until you get a response or else it gets moved to the bottom again and making another ticket makes it spam. So you can only be patient but that doesn't mean you will ever get a response. This is really upsetting. I wish I knew this before supporting them so much. I've done all you have done and also still waiting. I just reply to the clyde response and ask for a human and then clyde responds a few days later again. So all I have been doing is replying when I get that to keep the ticket open…

It looks like my account has been deleted. Does this mean it's gone for good? Kind of messed up if that's the case…

I've read that they can restore deleted accounts so I wouldn't drop your case. Keep trying to get a person to answer you and if you're lucky you will get it back. I'm upset I got scammed so I understand how it happened to me now but not having a reason given by them and not being communicated with is horrible. I wish you luck with getting a human interaction - if I do I will try to direct them to the people I've interacted with on these forums too.

What's the duration until accounts are fully deleted? My account was disabled 16 days ago, and I thought accounts are permanently deleted after 14 days. I looked around the support forum, but couldn't find anything certain on how long accounts have before they get deleted.
I'm in the same boat as you all, account disabled for no reason, no email, nothing. The only thing different for me was some user joined a server that I manage and claimed they would “get me banned”, not meaning banned off the server, but off Discord, they somehow did manage to get my account disabled. I got a DM from Discord, but I was logged out faster than I could read it.0 -
I also thought it was 14 days. Mine would be 14 days tomorrow. I saw someone say it might be 30 days for older accounts.
I have no idea how that person pulled that one off. My only guess is he found something you said out of context about age and reported you for being underage but I don't know how fast discord reacts to that.
Did you put in a support ticket? You probably will just get Clyde responding saying you broke ToS but who knows..maybe u will be a lucky one and get a real person.

Same here, it seems it may be longer, as my account doesn't have the “Deleted User” name yet.

Perhaps, I did have another account some time ago that was disabled due to me apparently being underage (I wasn't), but that time I got an email. The only thing I know that accounts get disabled with no email is CSAM, but I am more than 1000 percent sure I never sent that type of content, I'm not that type of person.

Yup, only Clyde responded… twice. Both times I asked for an actual support staff to respond and help me. My ticket is still open, now I'm just "patiently" waiting for a response. Hopefully luck is on my side and a staff will respond, fingers crossed.0 -
I've read your account will be deleted after being disabled for 30 days and mine was in fact deleted after 30 days so I would operate under that assumption. Personally, I've lost all faith in discord support after this. I still have a case open after I replied to a Clyde bot response but I doubt anything will come of it. I wish everyone good luck, hopefully someone here can get their account back lol.

Ah, I see, I have a little bit of a chance then. My faith as well has just died for support, anything else besides appeals they respond to, that's what I think.
GL with you, and other people trying to get their accounts back 🫡.0 -
I think it's just that they have separate teams for each support category. I do think the ones in trust and support have the best intentions, but like most workplaces/jobs, they are severely understaffed for the number of tickets they get. Between one ticket and my next, the ticket number was already up by 1k for the ones I had submitted back to back because I didn't get an email confirmation that it went through.
I wish they did temporary suspensions and held off deleting accounts while an appeal is pending revision.

Yeah, I agree, I hope they have good intentions and are trying their best to clear up tickets as fast as they can. I find it confusing though that a big if not the biggest support category is super under staffed. Like you mentioned, they probably get the most amount of tickets than the other categories.
I agree, temporary suspensions would work great for things that violate the terms and guidelines to a certain extent - like mild violations could be a temporary suspention for "x" amount of days.0 -
I got this CSAM hack happened to me as well, but Discord support chose to ignore for 1 week straight(Probably think i did it hahah, very funny) i literally provide evidence and everything include police report, yet they ignored, idk what to do.
PS: This discord got 7 month worth of Nitro and my phone number, so thanks for ignoring me, the attacker finally success at framing me .
