[Linked Roles] - Allow domain-specific links

For linked roles, allow server owners to define a specific domain as a requirement for a linked role. For example if I want to have a unique role for all of my employees at reallycooltech.co, I would create a linked role with the following requirements:

  • Has linked domain
  • linked domain = reallycooltech.co

    Unfortunately, as of now, there is no option to specify a domain as a requirement for a linked role in Discord. You can only choose from the existing connections that Discord supports, such as Twitter, Reddit, Steam, etc.

    However, there is a possible workaround that you can try. You can create a custom app that connects to your domain and verifies your employees’ email addresses. Then, you can use the app’s connection as a requirement for the linked role. This way, only the members who have connected to your app and verified their email address with your domain can get the role.
