    So my ticket taking 13 days is not as bad as I thought then.. I thought the situation would be hopeless at this point.

    I hope so too, I may have messed up by responding to my ticket so much but I hope they help me out. I also made other tickets that regard the same situation but the last time I was disabled it took around 8 days to get my account back so this is by far the longest ive waited.

    ….oh god what?

     

    I made like 14 tickets (most got closed) and kept opening the most recent ones with comments because I was panicking. I only just started to understand how the support team works a bit ago, HOW LONG AM I GONNA HAVE TO WAIT NOW? Will i literally ever get my account back now..?

    I chose “Appeal an action taken on my account” instead of “Update my age information”. Will this affect anything?

    I also added a comment attaching the selfie today since I forgot to do it 8 days ago when I submitted my appeal. Is this bad? Also how do you know adding a comment slows it down? I get making a new ticket but not adding a comment.

    I don't know if “Appeal an action taken on my account” will work, but the “Update my age information” was what the e-mail sent by Discord told you to do, so that's what you should have done. I also don't know for a fact about commenting, but I read an earlier age update message from like 2022 where discord actively sent messages to people who were spamming that “excessive comments will update the ticket and might push it to back of the line” 

    I don't know if it was something they said to stop people from spamming or not, but I would say to stop doing it if you have already done so. 

    If they have not read your ticket yet and you only now posted the selfie, I don't think there is any problem. 
     
    Also, just one or two comments on your tickets is fine, don't worry about it - I think I made like four comments on mine. Its just cautionary for you guys who are still waiting, who knows if my request would have been solved earlier if I didn't make any on mine.

    if it was solved yesterday, could you give us the #ID you had?  This way we know the difference and maybe how long it will still take :)

    Do you still get an email telling you that they received the email and that they read it? I didn’t get any for both my tickets and I’m waiting for 14 days…

    Yeah when I sent in a ticket I didn’t get a email saying they received it either. Only when I make tickets in the help and support category and send in a general question ticket I got a email saying they received it. But I have also been waiting for 14 days for my ticket as well

    I didn't receive an e-mail either when I made my update age request ticket, so don't worry.

    I unhooked the phone number from the account that was deactivated for underage, because I created a new account on the same day and plugged the phone number in there - discord required because suspicious activity was detected - I started adding people and joining the same servers I had on that account. Do you think i should wrote in the comment under the ticket that I unplugged the phone number and that they should disregard it? Did you have the same thing? Do you think I should make a new ticket and not plug in the phone number?

    I remind you that when creating a ticket it says that attaching a phone number to a ticket is optional 

    (I'm already waiting for the 12th day).

    I don't think the phone number really matters, because it was of no use during my request. The important thing is that the e-mail you entered is the one under your account and because of the MASSIVE amount of tickets, they have no time or interest in contacting you via phone.

    I don't know based on everything I'm reading, you're out of luck. I woke up this morning to the funny “We think you're under 13…” message, and it would be nice if they said exactly why, but oh well.

     if your issue was actually resolved then leave it, or else reply to the ticket with a message so it stays open until a staff comes to check it, from what I read, the bot has been doing all the automatic resolves as it thinks that you're spamming them

    I made two tickets about this. I am pretty sure I did the first one wrong, and. So should i have made a second ticket?

    Anyway first ticket was 7 days ago with no activity, except me getting desperate on day 5 and adding a reply, the second ticket I did today, but the one i did today was immediately marked as solved by the bot, I then replied to the ticket so the ticket would be open. I presume now i should just wait right?
