Suddenly after having my same account for 5+ years my account is permanently suspended for breaking the age limit TOS??

7 days ago i got emailed my account was permanently suspended and i almost had a heart attack reading it. i use discord  religiously everyday and have had my account with perfect standing for 5+ years.  Email said that “i’ve indicated” my self as being under 13 which is absolutely not possible at all. For a matter of fact i’m double the age of 13 (26)  and would never and have never said such a thing nor anything close to that. my account info has always been up to date. i have connected accounts to my discord profile such as paypal. twitter, xbox, etc. This has givin me nonstop restlessness and anxiety. my account is my everything. i have years of built up profiles for bots i play and use ontop of being a moderator/staff for multiple large servers (30+k members). i just can’t fathom how this can even occur. i created my ticket 7 days ago and did all the requirements they list. (Take a Selfie holding your ID and a piece of paper with your discord username written on it and have all be clearly visible.). i’ve heard nothing back: and i cannot go for letting this occur. I myself enforce strongly age related rules for my servers and within the community… For this action to be took on my account i’m thinking it has to be someone who just doesn’t like me and made a report and hoped something would occur? either way i know there’s no evidence related to what the reasoning is for my account suspension which is the under age 13 thing. and even if so. i simply am proving im a grown adult and have had perfect standing and been a supporter/nitro sub for years. 

 

 

Please attend to my case/appeal.  this is nothing but a false accusation and i’ve done and sent the requirements to prove otherwise in my ticket. and if need be will go to any length to prove it even more then i’m not a under the age  of 13 kid… its almost comical that this can occur to a long time discord user who’s a grown adult and has all info and proof right in the open and always has.. 


Discord support team i respect all of you and can assume you are all busy and backed up. but cases specifically like mine are not acceptable and the individual shouldn’t have to go through this and even possible lose there account truly over provable false accusations.

    Basically you're the fourth or fifth person who got this ban for being into something that supposed to enforce an age requirement and your case is something that implies that's something is going haywire with their ban system

    I was asked to change my ID after I sent new data and they answered me at the moment when my account had already been deleted)

    They answered me 3 weeks later and asked me to redo the photo ID.

    Same situation except I'm 25. It's ridiculous, I've been a longtime Discord user, never had even a minor infraction then 12 days ago my account is “permanently suspended”. Submitted the “Update Age Request” same day, and am still waiting. Also been a Nitro sub for over a year and 3 months now. Absolutely ridiculous.

    Support doesn't respond for a long time, that's okay. the main question is why delete accounts

    ya like this is the definition of messed up. i have YEARS of profile stats and history for the bots i play and am a big player within them and part of the community. that’s why i care so much ONTOP of this all being a fraudulent reason for my account to be suspended in the first place. i’m literally gonna call in to HQ. i’ve also been informed about some people on twitter that can supposedly get accounts back via software depending how n the reason it was suspended but they charge and it’s like 80-100$ and the main thing is there’s no trust barrier and it’s all payment upfront and i myself am not someone who’s gonna pay someone over twitter and “Hope” they are what they say they are and provide the services they are claiming they can do. lol. in other words the false pretense problem for me is still ongoing.

    same here, made a joke about being 5 when thats physically impossible with my account made by date. not response yet but it has only been 3 days. really hope it wont be deleted forever because i have a server and all my friends there which i am now isolated from.

    this really needs to be fixed, people are abusing the report system making everything worse for everyone. the people who make the false reports should be punished

    same situation as you, but discord doesnt hold that much importance to me, it is important but not as much as your case. i basically have all my friends there though, its tough
