deleting messages

Hello, 

so ive been using discord since 2020 and there is no way to delete the whole chat from both sides.. and ive been struggling with this and i think there’s is some people is not comfortable with the chat being existing as i am, i know there is closing dm but the whole chat and words is still there exiting and the other side can see it.. so what i hope that discord supports and developers helps and add this feature  “ delete dm “ from both sides and its will be so helpful

    yes I agree completely. i find it incredibly unsafe that they let DMs reside indefinitely, even after account deletion.
    i've said this before, but for a platform that advertises safety and also advertises to teens, its not that safe at all in case of personal info you accidently let out. 

    you can delete whole DMs but it takes forever with a text file, and pairing that with the slow discord support makes it annoying as all hell. if you don't have access to your own DMs, your DMs shouldn't be left there.
