When would we ever get a clear chat option?

Many other messaging apps and social media apps let you delete chats at least your end. Example on Instagram you can delete a chat, and it would wipe the history for you and not the other. It would help clear DM's a lot especially when using the search feature and mass images shared in DM's would be gone.

    there's pros and cons of the whole idea. but it needs to be added, god knows how many requests for the feature have been made, and it amazes me how this isn't a thing on a CHATTING APP, keeping DMs forever makes blackmail and doxing way to easy and really isn't safe for anyone, especially dumb teenagers.
