What is Bluesky?

Bluesky is a rapidly-growing large alternative to X/Twitter that just recently reached 10+ million users

Why add Bluesky?

Allowing people to add their Bluesky profile on Discord as a profile connection, will make it easier for their friends and followers to verify they can follow the right account, not only that but allowing people to add Bluesky as a profile connection add a larger variety in profile connections.

    I reset my account and logged in for the first time in years just to upvote this.  Bluesky continues to grow as more and more people switch from the toxic environment that is X/Twitter.  Since X banned Brazil, many Brazilian users have switched to bluesky as well.  I want to be able to easily link to my bluesky in my discord profile without having to use up space in the actual “about me” profile section. Thanks!

    I completely agree! Adding Bluesky as a profile connection would be awesome. It would make it so much easier for people to verify accounts and expand their social connections on Discord. Definitely hope they make this happen!
