Announcing channel mentions made in other channels

I'd like to see messages in which I mentioned another channel be announced on that channel as well. That way I can easily store a cross reference in that channel when I post something that is actually relevant to it elsewhere, just by adding a #theotherrelatedchannel somewhere in that message.

The announcement in the mentioned channel could read something like "@Thomas mentioned this channel: The same applies to #theotherrelevantchannel, which is used for. . .".

Clicking the message could show it in its entirety or take the user to the channel from which it originated.

Hopefully this makes sense.

    You can tag other channels using `<#CHANNELID>` or `#CHANNELNAME`. You can also link to specific messages utilizing the `Copy Link` option from the message's menu (on Windows Desktop Client, you get this by clicking the three verticle dots that appear on hover on the right of the message)

    This sounds like something that really wouldn't make sense as a Discord feature but which you could definitely accomplish with a bot for your server.
