Replacing Patreon

With the current problem at Patreon, I thought it would be a good idea if Discord provided "replacement", as in doing the same thing: enabling a monthly donation to the owner of a server (specifically content creators) and a cut would go to Discord. And there could be a function to limit access to a specific channel to supporters (though that could be done manually by using roles as well).

More and more third parties have become useless because Discord does it better, and I think it'd be great if Patreon became part of that list.

    Ehhh I don't really see a point to this as much, Discord wouldn't seem right with that implemented

    I don't really see any negative of more functions, especially if helps both some of the users as well as the company.
    Though of course it's not what you'd think typical for Discord, but then neither is the game store, and that turned out to be pretty cool as an option, if maybe underused.
