Steps to Sending Pictures

This may be a minor stipulation about the user interface for Discord, but I find the process of sending a picture on discord (desktop platform) to take longer than would be optimal. Not only is there some long processing time (may just me there, I have a slower computer), but there are also some steps it takes to upload a picture.These steps aren't in themselves bad- I like being able to caption the image- but there are processing times between each step and ultimately it elongates the time it takes to quickly, reactively send an image.

An idea I had to solve is a sort of "Quick Upload" button. Here, there would still be a normal "Upload" button but directly adjacent or nearby there would be a "Quick Upload" button, where it just asks what picture to send and then it immediately sends it. If it's too much to change the classic chat interface, maybe there could be setting in User Settings which dedicates whether or not there is an extra "Quick Upload" button.
