Automatically deafen/mute yourself when earphones are pulled

I think it would neat if there was an option to automatically deafen/mute yourself if your earphones gets pulled. Like there were times when the cord would accidentally pull out in a public place, leading to some embarrassing situations. So having the ability to prevent that from happening would be nice.
