Unassigning Roles From Oneself
In the current Discord settings, it is impossible to get rid of one's own role unless they have someone of higher power do it for them. While this can be useful for roles that mute people and the like, when people with higher roles than oneself are rarely on the Discord server it makes it impossible to say step down from a position or reassign yourself to a lower one without assistance. Is there a way that a toggle button in the role settings could be created to allow for this to exist? I'm currently dealing with an inactive admin on a small-ish server (40 some people), and this is causing difficulties.

+1 This is so annoying!
For me it's made a lot worse by my inability to turn off the red circle icon badges for notifications caused by a role being @-mentioned. I silence the channel completely so it's grey, but the number is still there, annoying me. I need to be able to remove myself from roles so the mentions are silenced.

oh god yes please! Being able to remove yourself from a role and also being able to selectively mute roles are sorely needed.

please fix this ... it sucks majorly that people can assign stupid colors and roles and junk to me and i cant get rid of the shit... i should have a choice if i want to have stupid colors and roles on a server ... not be forced cause someone clicked it.. shouldnt have to be a dick and wreck chat rooms so that people remove tags that you dont even want
