Custom action (LED blinking) on new private message

Hello, I think it'd be nice to execute custom action when I receive new private message, I'd like to make my mouse LED blink (so I won't miss message while in-game). Is there any ability to implement a plugin or something else for Discord client on Windows? I have mouse SDK and programming skills and eager to implement it myself too.
