New message banner should mark new messages as read when X button is clicked

At the moment, When you click the 'X' button on an iOS device, it still brings you to the message, whereas the desktop version of this banner allows you to mark them as read.

  This is already a feature.
  
  If you don't want to receive mentions from a server, click "Server Mute" or go into the notification settings for that server for more specific tuning.

  It’s frustrating when you’ve scrolled up to read something from earlier and a notification pops up but there is no way to dismiss it. Yes, tapping the notification should take you to the latest message — but tapping the ‘x’ which is clearly a secondary button within the notification should not perform the same action.
