Temporary Admin

Sometimes users know what to do to fix up the Discord more than the admins themselves. I often find myself creating a new role, making it admin, and then giving it to a user for an hour to get something done. However, I don't like that my users can see my private mod chat channel, and I'm afraid they'll delete something important.

It would be awesome if Discord could create a temporary admin position that is well-balanced and keeps private channels private to non-temp admins. Thanks!

    what would be the point in this? just give them admin and take it away afterwards.

    I don't see a point to this. You can give someone a role with Administrator then remove it. "I don't like that my users can see my private mod chat channel, and I'm afraid they'll delete something important" You can give them a role with only the permissions that you want them to have and deny that role access to your moderator channels.
