Allow Nitro Credit to be used without the need to insert payment info
Recently I had a friend gift me nitro about a month ago and was nearing the last few days of that subscription. During the grace period however, my friend sent me another subscription for 1 more month, but as it turns out, this subscription was not redeemed immediately and was instead stored as 'credit' that could be used when attempting to make a purchase for Nitro after inputting credentials for it.
My suggestion is that we should be able to activate Nitro Credit manually if it's being stored onto our accounts, without the need to input any sort of credentials to activate it. I myself and possibly tons of other people do not have access to a bank account/PayPal needed in order to activate this credit. As such I would find it extremely convenient if I could just activate the stored credit manually without having to worry about needing credentials in order to use it at all.

It's a good idea from a discord user perspective but from discord's perspective it's a bad idea because their goal is to get money from you. First if you got nitro without a credit card then discord would lose because they are giving it away for free for many users but if you got nitro with a credit card then discord would hope that when the months of free nitro is finished you will forget about it and they start charging money from your credit card so i guess discord will likely wouldn't give nitro to users without credit card unless they have changed.

and still, i have 2 nitro credits and how do i get it out without a credit card?its been 2 years, and discord support has done nothing.

You all, go to the "buy" or "subscribe" to nitro page, you can actually use your credit there..., my friend did it

This just pisses me off, I gift to someone and they can't use it without applying their payment details to discord and applying for recurring membership... Stop being scummy! Nobody wants to support a scummy platform, discord nitro isn't what it used to be... they seem to get hungry for nitro subs each year.

I just gave a friend a full nitro $10 gift for him to upgrade from nitro basic for Christmas. However, when he tried to switch, he was getting a $4.10 charge on his account with a required method. The credit wasn't even applying at all! we tried everything like reloading, using a browser, etc. and it still didn’t work. So my $10 got flushed down the toilet for nothing. Thanks discord for your flawful shameless piece of crap!

Bruh, i claimed a nitro gift when i had a nitro basic running. Now as the basic one has ended, i can't activate the new one just because of that stupid payment source. Funny that people have be complaining about this for years, but discord doesn't give a damn shit to find a solution for it. Now the guy, who paid for the gift, money is wasted and my experience is ruined.
I plead to you discord staff, please find a solution for it.
