Give me an option to schedule a meeting and invite attendees
One thing that Zoom offers that is cutting into Discord's competitive ability to be effectively used for teaching/educational environments is the ability to schedule a meeting and send out an invite. Discord's back end is rock solid and offers a high level of stability and customizable options when in a voice/video call. If I had the ability to create an invitation to a specific list of people by email or phone number or even discord ID, share it with them, and be able to interact with them without having to add them to my friends list or be in a mutual server with them, it would be amazing!

I would like this feature as well!
I am a WoW player, so having a way to schedule friendly meetups outside of a specific game. This is espescially helpful for games that don't have this feature, or are tied to 'worlds' or 'servers' and you cannot communicate across those.0 -
This would be excellent for for literally any group on Discord.
I play Unite and a basic calendar with a discord meeting will help us coordinate. Same for volunteering groups etc….
The ability to sync with with Gmail and Outlook calendars will certainly be a plus!
