Discord Rooms

Rooms would be a special API for game developers. Basically, rooms is a feature that allows players to temporarily connect their voice when playing on a public server. For exaple, a "Join Discord Room" button could show in the lobby of an Among Us map. Clicking it connects your voice to the server's room. When the server closes, you leave the room. No need to repeatedly join and leave servers or DMs!

This also has the added benefit of allowing the game to control who can speak and when. I think the best example of this would be to implement native proximity chat, currently available as a (by invitation) mod for Among Us. The YouTube video below is the best example of this.
