Group Chat Forced Entry

Y'know how your friends will ask if you want to join that group chat? Like a school project, a game of Jackbox, or just a hangout. Ever notice how Discord doesn't ask if you actually want to join that group chat? I wanted to leave a group chat just for a single night, but my friend was being a bit of an ass about it and kept throwing me back into the chat. In the end I blocked them until the next day which is a bit of a hassle. Besides that, what if you're in a work or school environment and someone adds you to a group chat with an NSFW icon or has NSFW content being posted on there? At school you'd have your phone taken away or you'd be sent to the office. At work you might end up having an interesting, and vexing, conversation with the boss.

    A simple confirm box does sound nice, but I'd suggest the confirm only be required for adding folks to an existing chat and not for the first time a chat is made.
