Extended Note-Taking Functionality for those who use prefer Discord over Ever-note or Microsoft sticky notes.
DISCLAIMER: This is a long post, but I am actually pretty passionate about the possible addition of this multifaceted future, as I truly believe discord could benefit from implementing. To clarify a bit more, I think this should be a concept for future development to be kept in mind rather than something super specific, as I believe there are a lot of ways one could go about this.

JUSTIFICATION FOR FEEDBACK SUGGESTION:
I KNOW for a fact that there is a large audience of people (and a large potential MARKET) who would want to use discord as a note-taking software. For one, it's overlay and UI are far more user-friendly and eye-pleasing in comparison to ever-note, and far more reliably prevents data deletion as opposed to Microsoft sticky-notes. And plenty people have been known to make their own personal servers with many channels designated towards keeping information from either pertaining to general notes, to to-do lists, or even college course class notes. So I strongly urge consideration in this area.
================================================================
There are plenty of issues that could be worked on to make discord a superior note-taking mechanism, both somewhat niche and others not so much: (although I feel the first point listed on here is one of the most essential characteristics that I find a lot of other note-taking methods lack)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Convenience of Note-taking Speed Efficiency to Encourage on-the-spot Note-taking
It's extremely useful when u can take notes when you remembered something to write down and can do so within 5 seconds before you forget all the details of what to write down. I find it incredibly discouraging to take notes when every time I need to make a tiny adjustment to what I typed down previously, or a simple extra detail addition, I may need to deal with the long loading time of discord (and I would have to close discord to save on bandwidth often, so I don't always have it in the background) and/or go through a long list of navigating to exactly where I want to send my notes to. (because of course i'm not always in my note-taking server, as I ofc also use discord's community live-chat within the many other servers I am in.
I think something like a separate discord module (something similar to one-note's quick-note functionality) for instant note-taking synchronized to whichever server and channel you want to send that note to. (as a message/pinned post/etc) It would be extremely useful if it were low computer-intensive so it's easily something you can keep in the task-bar tray to alt-tab to whenever or quickly bring it up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Extra Life-Improvement Features for Instant Note-taking Module:
From here we can have much greater creative freedom on what we would want to improve upon depending on future feedback on the above integration. For instance extra features for this instant-note-taking discord module that don't necessarily make it too resource heavy.
- note take logging history
- clipboard functionality for quick copy-pasting
- image/gif/file note-taking
- way to designate whether u want this note to be a regular message, pinned, or other?
- send a specific note to multiple channels in a server? (might be niche)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Channel/Role Management pertaining to Organization of Note-taking Messages:
There is another key issue that would come up which would be worth fixing because I find it to be an issue among both discord note-takers and the general discord server admin/moderator: The organization of note/messages in a channel, now I realize this would not be suitable in a server with other people or any conventional discord server, perhaps this could be a combination of a role permissions (that enables one to move messages up and down, and maybe have these messages specify if they have been moved like they do when you edit a message and show the word "edited") and channel permissions (that designate whether a channel can enable moving the placement of messages from the original order they were posted).
I think this would be both INCREDIBLY useful for not only note-taker discord users but even server admins/moderators that would like to re-order the way they formatted their "about-me", "FAQ questions" or "server rule-set" without having to edit a bunch of messages to make the organization easier or even worse, having to have to delete the messages and start over from scratch (which is the case for a lot of servers who have images of title font being uploading to different sections of their FAQ/rules/about me for organization purposes, which is a problem because re-organization isn't as easy as editing the post, as you can't edit in a newly uploaded image in a message that has already been posted (which honestly should be another request of mine if I were to make another post))
===================================================================
CONCLUSION
Sorry for the long post. I wanted to be as informative and intricate as possible in discussing my wishes/recommendations for future discord feedback and I REALLY HOPE they read this to at least consider my suggestions as I believe discord has SO MUCH POTENTIAL even more than they have already obtained. Please feel free to post in the comments any criticism/feedback you would like to provide, I can't say I will be able to see them and/or respond, but I will try my best if I find the time!

Has anything ever come of this? I'm also interested in discord memo taking.
