    This functionality was added in a recent update! Just go to your User Settings page and click "Scan QR code". You can also use this to login to new Discord desktop clients!

    The QR code feature does not work, because it crashes the mobile app after scanning it, I cannot log in on PC as a result without using my email and password (as it is supposed to be sent by the mobile app).

    I know you can login with them, I mean add friends and join servers with qr codes, I found that you can turn a discord invite into a qr code with online qr code generators.

    Well, it crashes the mobile app if I try to log in with the QR code 🤔

    I have the same issue as SoulEnd281. When scanning the QR code to log into the desktop app, the instantly hangs when it recognizes the QR code and crashes after a few seconds. Anyone know if this is something that has to wait for an update or if it's something that can be solved on the device?

    Same issue here and can't find any solutions. Have reinstalled Discord and the problem persists. Is there a fix?

    PerfectContrast, I'm not aware of a fix, but a work around should be lowering your phones resolution when scanning a qr code. Whenever my phone is set to WQHD (2560x1440) the app crashes, but it works just fine if I set my phone to FHD (1920x1080)

    Changing the resolution worked for me, that is so weird. Thanks for sharing this workaround HoodedDeath

    Gregxus, I'm pretty sure I've already gone through this method, but the only way I current know would be the "Submit a request" link at the top here (https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)
