Effective bug with the separator line being gone and empty avatars being allowed

There's a nasty side effect of the separator lines being gone between user messages. Since empty avatars are allowed (without even showing a nickname) one can easily pretend to talk in place of someone else because there's no separator line. To fix it either return separators or prevent empty avatar/names.
