Feature Suggestion: Compress Images uploaded from a mobile before sending (Like WhatsApp)

Hello Discord Team!

So the Discord Mobile app is probably the best social mobile app I've personally used. I love how you've taken the core desktop experience and translated it flawlessly onto mobile with no compromises.

It would be great if Discord app is able to automatically compress images before sending them, much like Whatsapp and other similar social apps do. For example a picture sent from my gallery uploads at the full 4.7MB size, however through whatsapp the image is compressed down to 201kb with little noticeable loss in quality visually.

This could be option that is enabled by default on mobile but can be turned off for those who want to send images/artwork in full resolution at the 8MB limit. Or full resolution sending could a exclusive to Nitro?

I imagine it may also help Discord reduce it's storage footprint significantly (particularly for users not on Nitro) and also help some users cut down on data!
