Automatically Accepting Nitro Credits Without Payment Info

Discord really needs to update their nitro gifting system. As someone whose nitro typically comes from the generous gift of a friend, it should go without saying that I’m very strapped for cash quite a bit of the time.

The fact that I cannot simply accept a nitro gift credit sitting in my account without inputting private payment information is ridiculous and unfair. If it’s a gift, I shouldn’t have to enter my personal information to use it. Especially since said information is used to “subscribe” for nitro, which, unless you cancel right away, can easily be forgotten leading to charges in your bank accounts you don’t want.

My suggestion? Let us accept the nitro credits for what they are: gifts. I’m not letting y’all rope me into unwanted charges when I’m already struggling.
