Bypass to allow DMs from bots and not from users

Have an option in Server privacy settings to allow DMs from users vs bots vs certain roles etc. That way still avoiding DMs from random users, we could still use bots that have DM functions and/or allow only users with certain roles like admins to DM.

    I really need this too. I've been harassed in my DM's with NSFW content which is why I'm closing my DM's, but it's really important for bots to DM me. Anyways, discord can detect which are bots and which arent

    Yeah this would be great.

    Also like if you could enable dms from a certain bot, kind of a bit like friend requesting but not.

    Or if server owners could add bots to a list in the server that you can go to and allow dms from those bots.

    I'm in a few servers which require dms from some bots for some things in them, and i'm not to comfortable allowing dms from everyone in that server.

    Same. This would be really useful for server where you don’t want to talk to users, but want to dm bots that only work in dms such as modmail bots.

    I had come over to make exactly this suggestion. I want DMs from friends and bots, so I think bots should have a separate setting from other users to allow DMs from them.

    There's another suggestion asking for what I think is almost the same thing here if you guys want to help raise awareness and upvote that one too.
