add a third, cheaper nitro
I'd like to buy Nitro classic to let me send larger files, but it's too expensive for me (I'm a student and money is tight). I also think the jump from 8MB to 50MB is way too big, the memes I make are like 16-20MB large
How about you make a Nitro Lite / Junior with:
- 20-30MB upload limit
- ability to use emojis from just one other server (this could be resetable like every month)
- ability to use 5-10 different animated emojis (resets per day)
- no custom tag, no animated avatar, no high res streaming no server boosts and no boost discount
The cost could be something like 2.50$ per month, maybe only available to students with .edu emails / ISIC cards.

Seems reasonable, I don't think Discord would do something like this. But maybe a student discount?

I like this idea, but i really hate the last sentence. Many schools arent giving school emails (as my). And personally i think, that ISIC cards are totally useless. Why i will pay for something, that i dont need, just to have discount on discord.

Mistr88, I know that these ways of verification may not be the best ones, but I couldn't think of anything better. Sending a photo of your ID or passport might seem like an invasion of privacy, an official document confirming that you study at that school is a bit far fetched and just a "I promise I'm a student" checkbox isn't gonna stop anyone.

I would be heavily in favor of a pick-and-choose system. Where you can pick and choose what exactly you want to have and what you don't want to have for a better price.
For example, I just want the emoji power. I don't care about the curated games, I don't care about the customized profile, or the server boosts, or the rep support, or the bigger uploads (that's what dropbox is for), or the HD video, or anything else.2
