Access to photo album

On my iPhone, when I try to start a video conference on discord, Discord asks me to give it access to my photo album. I don’t want to give access to my personal photos, but there is no way to refuse it.

I don’t see any technical need for that. Discord need’s access to my camera, but not my photos. I use it on my Mac without this problem.

 

So please can you allow modify Discord to allow making video conference without giving access to the photo album please ?
