New update for android discord removed many good features.

The newest updates for android discord are not the best. They removed some of the best features for no real reason and haven't added a way to toggle them back on.

1. Being able to ping someone by tapping their profile picture

This was one of the most simple and efficient ways to mention someone. But now with the newest update they made it so when you tap their profile picture it opens up their profile! This is so annoying as I am used to tapping the profile picture to ping, not to open up the profile. You now have to tap their name to mention them, which can be impossible if their name is one character like "!". Please re-add this feature discord it is very annoying and ruins my mobile experience

2. Holding down a message to copy it no longer shows preview text.

If you wanted to copy a message you would hold down on it and then it would show the preview text of what you were about to copy. This could also be used to see the names of custom emojis. Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

But now with the newest update they removed preview text entirely. This is very annoying because I can no longer see the names of emojis without having to search for it.

What's worse is that the reaction buttons ALWAYS appear, even if you do not have the permissions to react to a message. It is very misleading and the old reaction bar would no show if you were missing permissions. Please revert back to the old UI, so I can see preview text again.

I totally agree with that, also if you want to check the emote name, copy paste the message and you'll see it, it's not very practical but it does the job
