Layout/Appearance
I've been using Discord for a few years now, it always felt like home, but since about 6 months ago the updates have been bothring me more and more. And in the past month? It's making me consider finding some other app, but I really don't want to. Only posting here because I'm so upset with the recent changes.
At first I didn't like the seperation of notification and general settings. Felt like a hassle. Now the notification settings loop on themselves if you accidentally click the bottom button and its just so much slower to deal with.
The text bar that recently changed is white on my phone so I can hardly see what I'm typing and the bubble just feels out of place. The added arriw and two seperate picture buttons make posting images a hassle too.
And today? With the sidebar slider taking up the whole screen? That's somehow worse than the white text bubble for me.
Using reactions is also weird now and just... there are too many bad changes happening so suddenly. Please bring back the old appearance from a few weeks ago. **PLEASE**
Other than that, if I were to make a suggestion, maybe add branches for categories? Like categories within catagories?
Sorry for the complaint though. I know everyone is working hard, especially with Covid. Thank you anyway and I hope changes are considered...

I would love if the PC version had a midnight mode like mobile. My midnight discord escapades haven't been the same. On mobile it's dark and comforting, way less glare, however PC even though it's in dark mode l feel like I'm looking at the sun it just isn't dark enough. My screen brightness won't go down further. This unfortunately also means l have a hard time joining communit game nights or whatno when I have migraines as it's simply too bright to be concidered dark mode imo. Hope midnight mode gets added to the PC version soon.- Jayfoxifis ❤️👑
