The new mobile UI (May 7) is really bad
I use a tablet in landscape view, so I was totally happy with being able to see my list of channels and servers. Now that the servers and channels are behind a new tab, everything is way, WAY too empty. It's disorienting, and actively annoying to have to swipe over to switch to a different channel. I don't want to use Portrait Mode But Stretched, I want to have my mini-desktop back. At least give us the option to use a Legacy Mode, damnit.
In addition, the new animations for the menus sliding is so much laggier than the previous method. I don't want my chat experience to be "cool" and "sleek," I want it to be functional and fast. All of these new non-fixes and UI changes are severely hampering my enjoyment of this service, both on desktop and now especially on mobile.

How is it that the entire Mobile section is flooded with people complaining about this update yet they haven't taken action on it?

Glad to know I am not alone in how I feel about this UI downgrade. I don't think I would mind it so much for phones, but I hate it for my tablet.

Can they please go back to the old one. This one is driving me insane and I've used it for 10 minutes at the most. So can they please fix this.

I'm glad I'm not the only one upset about not being able to see channels any longer without dragging out the sidebar. Why not add these as options to create a customizable UI? View or collapse this section, resize that section, have it look and function the way each user wants.
