Mic icon stuck

For the past few months the mic icon seems to be stuck, showing myself as muted even if I'm not. I tend to switch it around a lot, since it's bound to a hotkey, but since this is software and not mechanical I don't think that's a proper reason for it not to show the current state correctly. On the app itself everything works normally, but the overlay, either the sideways 'at a glance' view or the ingame one don't work. This happens in dota 2 or factorio

    I reseted my sound and voice configurations, now the "muted" symbol is out.
