"Direct messages" screen become confusing if there are no opened chats

App version - 21.3 (1133) for Android

After UI redesign "Direct messages" screen becomes really confusing - when you do not have opened direct messaging chats (which are tabs in desktop app) it shows "Wumpus is waiting on friends ... Add Friend", while I have friends in the list.

It mixed me up, I thought that some data just wasn't received from backend and I had connectivity issue. But on "Friends" tab full friends list was displayed.

I expect you to show something like "No active conversations" screen rather than "You don't have any friend yet" in that case.
