Video capture broken with latest Discord update and Canon Webcam software

As of today I see Discord updated (May 14, 2020) to what ever version number it is. I cannot find what the version number is. I wish you would make this easy to find. EDIT: I found this, is it the version number of Discord? Hope it helps... Stable 60259 (e36411b)

Now my Canon EOS webcam utility is not working in Discord.
Its Canons Beta Webcam utility that allows Canon DSLR cameras to be seen as a webcam. It was working fine a week ago.

Now when connected my camera shutter clicks on and immediately off again. What ever you did to the update screwed something up. All other utilities like OBS still work with the camera.

    I'm still using the SplitCam program https://splitcam.com/forum/index.php?topic=8.0 SPLITCAM 8.1.4.1 you Start the program, there you press "pause" and then "play", the camera starts, close the program on the cross, it collapses into the tray, in Discord you choose SplitCam webcam, this method is bad because it eats 30% of the CPU

    Hmm, interesting. ya 30% cpu is bad if you're gaming and trying to stream.

    Is there a reason you don't use the newest version 10?

    mb 20%, but this is not good. The newest version doesn't see the camera at all. Writes a notification that no cameras were detected on this PC

    I have suggestions that there's a reason Discrod won't fix this. After the driver was released, all the companies that produce video capture cards suffered huge losses(for example, Camlink), this may well be a collusion
