Add method to view unread inbox in main chat window

The unread message inbox feature is great, but I would like a way to see that list somewhere that doesn't cover up other information like the user list.

I think optimally it would be nice to see it displayed in the main chat column of the UI where a channel's text is normally displayed, or in a separate window entirely.
