Please allow stereo audio inputs on Discord's desktop app!
I had a ticket open about this for a little while and it was confirmed with the engineers that the desktop app doesn't allow for multiple channels of audio (i.e. stereo as opposed to mono) as input. The wild thing about this is that multi-channel audio input selection works perfectly in the browser, but once you're on the actual Discord app, it's a completely different story.
Currently, Discord's desktop app only allows a mono channel audio input, but it is absolutely possible to have multi-channel input with WebRTC, which is what Discord uses for its audio. People who make music and share it with their friends/web communities, especially now, would definitely have a use for this, and those on Mac could also be able to stream on Discord with audio through the built-in aggregate device creator as Windows users are able to do natively.
I'm genuinely not sure if this is a feature request or a bug report, since it works beautifully in Chrome and Firefox, but either way it would be very useful. Thanks!
